Tornado warning issued for Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent

A tornado warning has been issued for Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent.

Damaging winds, large hail and locally intense rainfall are possible, according to Environment Canada.

Windsor police say they are receiving a lot of calls about flooded roads, specifically at Wyandotte and Drouillard.

As of right now, there are no road closures in effect.

The weather authority recommends people to take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches.
