It's been a momentous year for the Royal Family, with highs and lows for the whole family.
The nation marked the historic Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, making her the first British monarch to celebrate 70 years on the throne.
But months later, that joy would be replaced by sadness as the Queen's children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were joined by millions in mourning her death.
Famed for their 'stiff upper lip', the Royal Family showed a rare glimpse of emotion as they laid the country's longest-serving monarch to rest and celebrated the accession of King Charles III.
From laughter and tender moments to tears, stoicism and celebration, it's been an emotional year for the royal family and some of those most memorable moments have been immortalised on camera.
Here are some of the touching photos that mark the highs and lows the royal family have been through in 2022.
