What a traffic jam looks like along Vancouver’s seawall

Vancouver’s Stanley Park seawall is a scenic and serene place to cruise along on two wheels. Three wheels, however, have the potential to clog things up. That’s exactly what happened recently, when a little boy was biking the popular route on his tricycle.

A man filming the scenic spot noticed the boy on his bike as he came around a bend in the path. As the man filming zooms in, even more cyclists appear from around the corner, which is dense with foliage.

“The kid’s taking charge,” the man filming says with a laugh. “There’s a huge pile up behind him. Just ‘cause of the kid on the tricycle.”

The little boy is seen peddling away with his helmet on, ahead of the pack. He doesn’t appear to be concerned. Behind him is a long line of about 15 cyclists, patiently and slowly following his trail. Pedestrians on the other side of the path walk by the line of bicyclists, making it tricky for them to cut across and bike ahead.

It’s visual testament to the politeness of Canadians, against a beautiful backdrop.
