At around 6:15 p.m. CST a rear-end collision turned into a 10-vehicle pileup on Circle Drive N. just west of the Circle Drive Bridge. Four pickup trucks, five cars and a semi tractor were involved.

Traffic was backed up as emergency crews cleared the scene.

Less than an hour later, there was a three-vehicle collision at Warman Road and Hazen Street, not far from the pileup.

A second vehicle heading north on Warman struck the first vehicle, glanced off and struck a third vehicle that was stopped waiting to make a turn.

A 19-year-old Saskatoon woman who was a passenger in the vehicle at fault suffered head injuries. A 64-year-old Saskatoon woman driving the northbound vehicle suffered minor injuries. Both were taken to hospital.
