Transportation Safety Board investigating incident on runway at Pearson airport

A team of investigators with the Transportation Safety Board of Canada has been deployed to Toronto's Pearson International Airport to investigate an incident involving an arriving plane.

The TSB is calling the incident a 'runway incursion,' which is when a plane makes contact with another plane or ground vehicle.

The Greater Toronto Airport Authority said the incident involved an American Airlines plane that arrived at the airport just after 11 a.m.

No one was injured, and there was no impact on airport operations.

TSB investigators will release their findings once the investigation is complete.
