When is trash pickup for Thanksgiving holiday week in Bradenton and Manatee County?

Garbage and recycling pickups will change this week for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Manatee County and City of Bradenton and Palmetto officials say Thanksgiving will change local trash pickup days this week.

Sanitation crews will not collect trash, recycling or yard waste on Thanksgiving. If your normal pickup day falls on Thursday or Friday, your pickup will be a day late. Normal pickup schedules will resume Monday.

Storm cleanup crews will continue to pick up debris across the county on Thursday and Friday. Crews made a last sweep through Bradenton and Palmetto this past weekend.

County and city government offices will also be closed on Thanksgiving and Friday.
