Travis Kelce is everywhere these days. On the gridiron, on and off-stage with his girlfriend Taylor Swift, and in TV shows, commercials and popular podcasts.

The Chiefs’ legendary tight end has also been repping a growing roster of food and drink brands. He’s even invested in some of them.

Garage Beer is one of the latter. Travis and his brother Jason bought into a small-batch brewery in Covington, Kentucky. The result is a brand whose packaging proclaims it’s “beer that tastes like beer.”

The product is a basic light lager, and we enlisted some of the Star’s staff to sample the lime version.

Our roster included full scale beer enthusiasts, Chiefs fans and those who just wanted to see what the fuss was about.

A common response was that ”if you like Coors Light, you’ll like this.”

Someone called it “college beer,” and another suggested it falls in the category of “yard beer.”

One of the more enthusiastic panelists loved the lime taste and went so far as to deem it “playoff worthy.”
