Travis Kelce greeted defensive players with special dances in pregame intros
No one in the Chiefs franchise seems to have more energy than tight end Travis Kelce.
And it’s a positive vibe that Kelce brings to the Chiefs, whether it’s at practice, during a game or afterward.
That energy was on display Sunday ahead of the Chiefs’ game against the Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs defensive players were introduced during pregame ceremonies, and two offensive stars were the first to greet each teammate: Kelce and quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
A Chiefs fan shared a video of the intros and Kelce had a special little dance move for each teammate as he hyped them. For instance, Kelce had a “Stone Cold” Steve Austin move when defensive lineman Chris Jones came through.
Here is the video from TikTok user Tanya Childress.
Chiefs fans loved seeing Kelce celebrate his teammates. Here is a bit of what was said on TikTok and X.
One fan wrote on TikTok: “That is why we love this man!!!! Best hype person ever!”
Another shared this: “Best hype man, best teammate.”
“This is cute,” a third wrote. “What he’s actually doing is mimicking each player’s trademark move when they have a big play. That’s why some players didn’t get a dance or move…they don’t have their own yet.”

Another gushed: “I love him! He’s always ready to dance!”
“The biggest goof ball in the best way,” one fan wrote.
The Chiefs shared this video last week and it shows how Mahomes and Kelce fired up teammates before the win against the Buccaneers.
