Travis Kelce (in leotard) and Taylor Swift as you’ve never seen them — in music video
Anyone waiting to see Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce together in a music video — Friday’s the day.
The couple make their video debut as cartoon versions of themselves in comedian Al Yankovic’s new video.
Check out Kelce wearing Chiefs-red lederhosen.
For the video, called “Polkamania,” Yankovic turned a dozen popular songs into upbeat polka ditties.
What? You’ve never heard Cardi B’s “WAP” about “whores in this house” with accordions and an oom-pah-pah beat?
You have now.
“Bad Guy,” (Billie Eilish), “Hello,” (Adele), “Flowers” (Miley Cyrus), “Vampire” (Olivia Rodrigo) and “Shape of You” (Ed Sheeran) are now polka dances, too.
So is Swift’s “Shake It Off.”
It’s the last song in the four-minute medley, where cartoon Yankovic shakes it off when animated Swift rebuffs his romantic gifts of red roses and heart-shaped balloons.
That’s because her heart belongs to that “guy on the Chiefs,” who comes sliding into view seconds later wearing the lavender-colored leotard and high-heeled white boots Swift wears during her Eras Tour concerts.
He’s holding Swift, wearing the outfit she wore to her first game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium last fall, on one shoulder.
We wonder if Yankovic planned the cameo when he and Kelce participated in the annual Big Slick celebrity fundraiser for Children’s Mercy a few weeks ago. Yankovic has become a regular and popular participant.
