Travis Kelce Talks Taylor Swift Romance Rumors on His Podcast: 'I Did This to Myself'
Travis Kelce's brother Jason says they've "gotta talk about" his love life on the latest episode of their podcast "New Heights"
Travis Kelce will soon be addressing his rumored romance with Taylor Swift!
In a teaser for the new episode of his podcast New Heights — which he co-hosts with his brother, fellow NFL star Jason Kelce — Travis, 33, is teased by his sibling about Swift.
"We've been avoiding this subject out of respect for your personal life," Jason, 35, said in the teaser for the episode, which is out Wednesday. "Now, we've gotta talk about it."
"Yeah, my personal life that's not so personal," the Kansas City Chiefs tight end laughed. "I did this to myself, Jason. I know this."
The Philadelphia Eagles center then asked his brother, "Well Trav, how's it feel that Taylor Swift has finally put you on the map?" which made Travis burst into laughter as the promo ended.
“New episode. TOMORROW. 👀 Link in bio to subscribe,” the teaser was captioned on Instagram Tuesday.
On Sunday, Travis and Swift's rumored relationship made headlines when the singer, 33, showed her support for the tight end at the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Chicago Bears. The star was pictured cheering for the Chiefs in Travis' suite at the Arrowhead Stadium alongside the sportsman’s mother, Donna Kelce.
A source subsequently told PEOPLE that Travis “rented out a restaurant” following the Chiefs' victory. "[Travis and Swift] showed up together and were cute and normal, just hanging out and chatting,” the source said.
The insider added that the duo are "just hanging out" and "there's no pressure" as they get to know each other.
“It’s super, super early days,” the source said. “They’re having fun and getting to know each other."
After Swift’s attendance at the game, sales of the Super Bowl winner’s Chiefs jersey saw a huge spike in sales, according to Fanatics, the NFL's e-commerce partner.
“Yesterday, Travis Kelce was one of the top five selling NFL players and saw a nearly 400% spike in sales throughout the Fanatics network of sites, including NFLShop.com," a Fanatics spokesperson told PEOPLE on Monday.
Back in July, Travis shared how he hoped to meet and exchange numbers with the “Karma” singer during her Eras Tour concert in Kansas City, Missouri, but he was left “disappointed.”
“If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets, and I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it,” he said on his podcast. He added that he was “a little butthurt” that his plan didn’t work out.

But earlier this month during an interview on The Pat McAfee Show, Travis revealed that he had been in contact with Swift since her concert and told her, "I've seen you rock the stage at Arrowhead [Stadium]. You might have to come see me rock the stage at Arrowhead and see which one's a little more lit."
He added, "We'll see what happens in the near future."
