Travis Vader, accused in murders of Alberta seniors, back in custody

Travis Vader is back in custody after allegedly violating his bail conditions over the weekend.

RCMP say Vader was arrested around 10:30 Saturday night after officers were called to a home in Edson, Alta.

In December, Vader was rearrested and charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of Lyle and Marie McCann.

After spending several days in custody, Vader was released on bail and placed under house arrest.

Vader is now charged with six counts of breach of recognizance and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

He will appear in Edson provincial court on March 17 via closed circuit TV.
