It's Treaties Recognition Week, here are books and resources to check out

In light of the Treaties Recognition Week, TimminsToday has compiled a list of books that are available for reservation at the Timmins Public Library.

All of the titles are physical books that can be borrowed from the library. Reservations can be made by visiting the library during the regular hours or by calling 705-360-2623.

Here are some books that you can read to learn more about treaties and local Indigenous history:

Since 2016, the first week of November has been recognized as Treaties Recognition Week in Ontario.
