Trees Slump Under Coat of Ice After Storm in Edmond, Oklahoma

Trees fell across central Oklahoma after an ice storm coated leaves and branches across the region on Tuesday, October 27, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

The ice storm also caused thousands of power outages in the state. There were 230,092 Oklahoma Gas and Electric customers without power as of 5.30 pm on Tuesday, according to the power company’s outage map.
