Trudeau checking if ‘all rules’ were followed in Hussen’s hiring of foodie firm

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke about housing minister Ahmed Hussen on Monday, after Global News reported that Hussen used over $93,050 in constituency funds to hire a foodie firm with family ties to Hussen’s senior staffer. “I know the minister has spoken to this and will continue to answer questions on this. My preoccupation is that the rules always be followed, but also that members of parliament continue to put a priority on connecting, communicating with Canadians,” Trudeau said.
