Update: Twilight star Gregory Tyree Boyce's cause of death has been confirmed.

The actor and his girlfriend Natalie Adepoju were found deceased at his home in Las Vegas last month, and a coroner has now declared that the couple died from the effects of cocaine and fentanyl intoxication.

He also confirmed that their deaths were accidental.

Original story (19/5): Twilight star Gregory Tyree Boyce and his girlfriend Natalie Adepoju have been found dead.

A spokesperson for the Las Vegas Medical Examiners confirmed to E! News on Monday (May 18) that Boyce and Adepoju had both been pronounced dead last Wednesday (May 13).

An investigation into the couple's causes of death are still pending, so there is no available information at this time about the events leading up to their passing.

Boyce is best known for starring in 2008's Twilight as Tyler Crowley, the student who nearly killed Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) with his van before Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) rushed to her rescue.

This was a pivotal scene in the movie, as it was the moment where Bella realised that Edward had superhuman capabilities for the very first time.

Boyce's mother Lisa Wayne shared her grief over his death on Facebook, writing: "I'm sick without you. I'm torn, I'm lost. I'm in pain. I'd text you or call you when I was broken or worried about something, and you'd tell me, Ma, I got you, we'll get thru this together. Boy.

"Why did you leave me. We lived in the same complex and you were my dinner. You'd cook, I'd come eat and chill and walk back home."

She later shared a memory of their last meeting: "With you, the last time I saw you on Monday, May 11, 2020, I went to your house to eat leftovers from Mother's day, we watched a Dave Chappelle show and you walked me to my car, hugged me, kissed me on my cheek and told me that you love me and to call you when I got home.

"That was it. Never another hug, kiss or to hear those words, I love you again. I'm broken. I love you Greggy, my Hunny."
