Two dead after SUV collides with motorcycle in Macon, coroner’s office confirms.
Two drivers died in a crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV Friday night in Macon, the Bibb County Coroner’s Office confirmed.
An “SUV collided with a motorcycle” around 7:30 p.m. on Bass and Zebulon roads, Coroner Leon Jones told The Telegraph.
The motorcycle driver, 24-year-old Zachary Buehler, was pronounced dead around 5:30 a.m. Saturday.
The SUV driver, 82-year-old Mary Hodden, died around 1:30 a.m. Saturday, according to Jones.
A passenger in the SUV was in stable condition at Atrium Health Navicent, Jones said.
Family members were notified of the deaths.
It was unclear how fast each vehicle was driving.
