West coast crash kills 2 on TCH
Two people are dead following serious single-vehicle accident on the Trans Canada Highway at Southwest Brook bridge about 30 metres from the Burgeo Highway turnoff
Bay St. George RCMP said a car struck a guard rail and went into the water. The victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
Traffic delays are expected to continue for most of the day, as the accident has reduced traffic to one lane.
Police are requesting motorists to drive with extreme caution while police, fire and ambulance attend to the scene of the accident.
