You may know North Italia and Flower Child from their South End locations, but here’s a refresher:
North Italia
North Italia was created in 2002 as a modern Italian restaurant.
ABOUT THE MENU: Using seasonal ingredients, expect scratch-made pasta dishes, a chef’s choice daily pizza and entrées including Squid Ink Tonnarelli and Braised Short Rib. A personal favorite: White Truffle Garlic Bread, with housemade ricotta, mozzarella, grana padano, herbs. Make room for it and thank me later.
ABOUT THE LOCATION: The restaurant will be 6,480 square feet and it will be across from Fly Kid Fly and Honeysuckle Gelato on Bowl Street.
Flower Child
Flower Child originated in Phoenix in 2014. It’s a healthy and satisfying fast-casual spot that features made-from-scratch meals. It features free yoga mat parking, Instagrammable interior details and a vegan-friendly menu.
ABOUT THE LOCATION: The Ballantyne location will be 3,555 square feet and it will be across from North Italia on Bowl Street.
ABOUT THE MENU: Look for plant-forward customizable bowls, wraps, salads, different mix-and-match veggies, grains, fruits and healthy proteins.
Fox Restaurants also own Culinary Dropout, which will open Oct. 11 in South End.
