Two people have suffered minor injuries after being hit by a car before it crashed into a McDonald's restaurant.

Avon and Somerset Police were called to the fast foot outlet in Bradley Stoke, near Bristol, shortly before 18:15 GMT on Tuesday.

Two people, including one of the pedestrians, suffered minor injuries that did not require hospital treatment.

About four police cars and an ambulance attended the scene.
