Two juveniles injured in golf cart crash at a busy Fresno intersection, police say
Two juveniles were injured Sunday afternoon in a golf cart accident at a busy intersection.
Officers responded to the crash just before 6 p.m. at Herndon and Marks avenues.
Fresno Police Lt. Leslie Williams said four juveniles allegedly took a neighbor’s golf cart without permission when one of them was driving recklessly that caused the golf cart to overturn.
The two juveniles received treatment at Valley Children’s, Williams said.
An 11-year-old has some scratches and a seven-year-old has a broken leg, Williams said.
The two older juveniles, 15 and 16 years old, did not require medical treatment.
Officers are still working to determine whether the children had permission to borrow the neighbors golf cart.
