Two workers injured in explosion, fire at Tarrant County home near Saginaw
Two men were injured in an explosion and fire at a house in north Tarrant County, near Saginaw, on Thursday afternoon.
Firefighters responded to the home in the 9100 block of South Water Tower Road about noon on Dec. 12.
The Tarrant County Fire Marshal’s Office told KDFW-TV that the explosion occurred while two men working at the house were spraying lacquer. The workers sustained burns to the head, face and arms and were flown to Parkland Hospital in Dallas.
Neighbors told WFAA-TV that the garage door blew off of the house and landed next to the driveway.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
