Ukraine’s SBU security services released footage of Ukrainian servicemen returning from Russian captivity, posting on Facebook on May 31.

This exchange was facilitated by the Unified Coordination Center for Search and Release of Prisoners of War, acting upon the decision of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.

Underlining the paramount value of every Ukrainian life, the Coordination Headquarters reaffirmed its commitment to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's directive to ensure the safe return of all Ukrainians held captive.

Ukraine and Russia conducted a prisoner exchange on May 31, 52nd since the start of Russia's invasion, returning 75 soldiers home. The exchange was supported by the UAE.

So far, 3210 Ukrainians returned to Ukraine from Russian captivity.
