Several roads remained closed at Big Bend National Park on Sunday, March 19, after heavy snow continued to fall in southwest Texas.The National Weather Service (NWS) said Chisos Basin, a mountain basin in the Chisos Mountains within the park, recorded six to eight inches of snow on Saturday.The road leading to the basin was reopened on Sunday morning. A Calgary geothermal company, Eavor Technologies Inc., has been awarded a grant from the European Innovation Fund (EIF) in support of the Canadian firm's geothermal project in Germany.
