Um...Did Obama Just Make a Dick Joke Aimed at Trump at the DNC?

The Democratic National Convention officially kicked off on August 19—the same day Love Island USA’s season 6 reunion aired, FYI—and the energy has pretty much been this:

The DNC has brought political figures, delegates, and even content creators together in Chicago, and folks like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and President Joe Biden gave impactful speeches. So it wasn’t long before former President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama graced the stage on August 20, too.

During his speech, Obama backed up his endorsement for the Democratic presidential nominee, Kamala Harris, and spoke about the question people are asking during this year’s election: “Who will fight for me?”

“One thing is for certain, Donald Trump is not losing sleep over that question,” Obama said on stage Tuesday night. “Here’s a 78-year-old billionaire who has not stopped whining about his problems since he rode down his golden escalator nine years ago. It has been a constant stream of gripes and grievances that’s actually been getting worse now that he’s afraid of losing to Kamala.”

“There’s the childish nicknames, the crazy conspiracy theories, this weird obsession with crowd sizes. It just goes on and on and on,” he continued, making a hand gesture that may have acted as an innuendo about penis sizes.

The DNC’s audience went into an uproar after his comedic delivery, and of course, the internet followed suit with their own reactions. πBarack Obama reminded everyone why he was president for 8 years. Top Tier delivery,” one Twitter user wrote, while another played into the former president’s gesture, adding, “Obama’s speech nailed every movement.”

Well, there ya have it. A former president (sort of, possibly?) made a phallic joke in our good year 2024....Write that down for future history books.
