Since launching (and immediately selling out time and time again) in 2017, the Glow Recipe Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping Mask has been a staple in billions of bathroom cabinets, give or take a few.
A favorite among beauty editors, no product has ever been hyped up the way that Glow Recipe’s sleeping mask is. This is especially true when it comes to plumping and brightening dull-feeling complexions.
For what appears to be no reason at all, the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask is on sale for 45% off. Normally retailing for $45, the face mask is only $27 at both the Glow Recipe website and Sephora.

The bouncy gel-like cream features hyaluronic acid and Glow Recipe’s signature watermelon extract to hydrate and soothe the skin. Meanwhile, peony root provides an overall brighter complexion, and alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) gently exfoliate to refine the look of pores.
The intended result is a sounds-too-good-to-be-true illuminating glow. It’s fitting, as the Watermelon Sleeping Mask marked down by almost 50% off also sounds too good to be true.
Per Glow Recipe, you can use the glowy mask in two effective ways. You can slather it on as an overnight sleeping mask or traditional wash-off mask. The latter of the two is recommended for sensitized and irritated skin.
Reviewers at both Sephora and the Glow Recipe site credit the magic pink formula as a skin savior. Various skin types have been left feeling “silky,” “refreshed” and “dewy” — as well as other adjectives that convince you to whip out your credit card.
While not every product works the same for every user, reviewers with oily and acne-prone skin have described it as “keeping bad breakouts at bay.” On the flip side, reviewers with dry or sensitized skin say their skin now wakes up “happy and unproblematic!”
