Underwater rescue team continues to search for missing boy, 12, near Estevan, Sask.

RCMP looking for suspect in Green Lake, Sask., incident, 2 men charged

Mounties in southern Saskatchewan are still searching for a 12-year-old boy who went missing after he was spotting swimming in the Woodlawn Regional Park south of Estevan, Sask., on Sunday.

At 2 p.m. CST Estevan RCMP were called to the Woodlawn Regional Park, about 200 kilometres southeast of Regina, about a possible drowning.

Police said a boy, 12, was swimming with another person when he was spotted going under the water.

RCMP's Underwater Recovery Team completed multiple dives late Sunday night and found nothing.

The search resumed on Monday at around 8 a.m.

Estevan Traffic Services, Carlyle Traffic Services and Carlyle RCMP have also been helping with the search.

Carlyle is a town 100 kilometres northeast of Estevan.
