Union Budget on Feb 1, Parliament session begins on Jan 29

Parliament will hold the first part of Budget Session from January 29 to February 15, during which the Union Budget 2021 will be presented on February 1.

The second part of the Budget Session will begin March 8.

Both Houses of Parliament will function for four hours each day during the session

All COVID-related protocols to be followed during the Budget session of Parliament.

President Kovind will address the joint sitting of both Houses of Parliament on Jan 29.

The Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs had recommended Part 1 of Budget session from Jan 29 to Feb 15, and Part 2 from Mar 8 to Apr 8.
