University Avenue section closed in Charlottetown
Traffic is likely to be bad in Charlottetown Tuesday as the city has had to shut down a portion of what may be the province's busiest street.
University Avenue is closed between Connolly and Pond streets.
The closure is so crews can work on a water main that burst on Sept. 22. Crews have been working regularly in the area since, but most of the time the city has been able to keep one lane open.
That section of University Avenue will be closed for the day.
The avenue is also down to one lane between Kirkwood and Nassau as work on the city's combined sewer project continues.
