While the risks are alarming, the solution is straightforward: Canadians are encouraged to test their homes for radon. Test kits are available online, at select local retailers, and through certified radon professionals. For many households, installing a radon mitigation system can swiftly reduce levels by over 90%, offering a simple yet effective defence.
