Van passenger hangs out window to push cyclist off bike

A van passenger hanging out of a window pushed a cyclist off his bike in Nottinghamshire, shocking footage from March shows.

The victim was travelling to work along Nottingham Road, Toton, when he was assaulted by a man in a silver Peugeot.

He sustained facial injuries, bruising to his arms and legs and a swollen knee, and his bike was damaged.

Nottinghamshire Police have released footage of the incident to aid them with their inquiries into the assault which happened at 4am on Saturday 9 March 2024.

They ask that anyone who recognises the passenger or any information calls Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 137 of 9 March 2024 , or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
