Vehicle plows through wall of paint store in South Mississippi, authorities investigating
Authorities are investigating after a car crashed through a Sherwin Williams paint store Thursday morning in Jackson County.
No one was injured, Jackson County Fire said on Facebook. The car hit the Sherwin Williams on Washington Avenue.
A 47-year-old woman alone in the car crashed about 8:30 a.m., Mississippi Highway Patrol Trooper Landon Orozco said. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Photos show a tan Ford SUV crashed through the wall and stopped inside the store. It was covered in metal, wall insulation and debris.
The impact of the crash on the store’s operations was not immediately clear. An employee who answered the phone Thursday morning declined to comment.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
