Verb's New Dry Shampoo Has a 2,000-Person Waitlist

And for good reason.

A dry shampoo spotted by Byrdie has 2,000 people vying to own it, and the waitlist is predicted to reach a whopping 10,000. The glorious product in question comes from the brand Verb, which already makes a dry shampoo with nearly 6,000 "hearts" and a four-star rating on Sephora. So, what makes the new product so special?

The shampoo comes in two shades: light and dark. "The Light formulation has a purple tint that helps counteract brassiness and adds a lot of dimension," Verb told Byrdie, "while the dark shade is a medium brown that is designed to disappear in deeper shade ranges." They added that it's a "true dry shampoo" that will clean your hair, not just make it look clean.

Verb's two new dry shampoos are also unique in that they spray onto your hair. "It works almost like a dry conditioner — so you use the dry shampoo at your roots and the Ghost Dry Oil from midshaft to your ends," the brand told Byrdie, referring to another popular product. "It conditions ends, adds shine, eliminates tangles, and adds a fresh scent."

Verb Dry Shampoo will officially go on sale on May 1, and you can join the waitlist on Verb's site. In the meantime, the company is giving away five bottles every day, and you can enter to win one here. If you need me, I'll be crossing my fingers that I win a bottle of my own...I know my hair would thank me.
