Victim airlifted to hospital after tractor rollover near Courtland

An air ambulance touched down near Courtland Wednesday evening to transport a farmer whose tractor had rolled over, pinning him underneath.

Norfolk County firefighters were able to free the trapped man, who was flown to hospital for treatment of what Norfolk OPP described as “non-life threatening injuries.”

Paramedics assisted with the rescue on Jackson Side Road, south of Plowman’s Line.

The provincial ministry of labour and the Ontario Farm Safety Association were informed of the incident.
