Gunshots rang out in the area of The Queensway and Windermere Avenue, just north of Sunnyside Park, around 9:53 p.m., according to police.

Officers found the victim without vital signs inside a car a short distance away, near the corner of The Queensway and Ellis Avenue. He was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
