Video: CCTV Shows Moment Magnitude-6.2 Earthquake Hits Pizzoli

A magnitude-6.2 earthquake struck central Italy in the early hours of August 24, reportedly killing dozens of people. In the town of Amatrice, one of the worst affected areas, mayor Sergio Pirozzi was quoted as saying “half the country is gone, people are under the rubble,” in an interview with Italian news agency ANSA. USGS reported seven aftershocks in the region.
