Adorable lion cubs born in Czech zoo

Jumping, playing and pouncing

these three tiny Barbary lion cubs

have brought joy to a Czech zoo

Location: Dvůr Králové nad Labem

The female babies were born two months ago

but have only just been introduced to the public

They are a welcome addition

to Safari Park Dvur Kralove's lion pride

which greeted two other cubs last year

Barbary lions once inhabited the Atlas Mountains

but have been considered extinct

in the wild for decades

The last known Barbary lion was shot

in Morocco in 1942

and there are around 90 left in captivity
