Calhoun County Jail Doused in Disinfectant Amid Coronavirus Crisis

Calhoun County Jail in Anniston, Alabama, has purchased a number of disinfectant foggers to keep the facility sanitized amid the COVID-19 outbreak.

Footage by the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office shows a deputy spraying tables and chairs, as part of protective measures against the coronavirus.

“We screen all new inmates, and if the new inmate fails the screening nurses immediately conduct a medical evaluation. There is a designated quarantine area on a separate HVAC system that is being used for any suspected cases,” the sheriff’s office wrote alongside the footage.
