Clearing Efforts Following 'Historic Storm Cycle' in Utah

The Utah Department of Transportation posted footage on February 23 showing cleanup operations after what it called a “pretty historic storm cycle” in Cottonwood Canyons.

Sharing this compilation post, UDOT Cottonwood Canyons said, “The road was closed for 70 total hours with 31 recorded road impact avalanches!” The footage shows UDOT crews clearing snow, and a vehicle removed by the crews leaving a clear imprint in several feet of snow.
