Close-Up Footage Shows Moment NASA Rocket Explodes After Takeoff

The NASA Antares rocket was due to lift off from the NASA Wallops Flight Facility on October 28, but it didn’t go according to plan. Seconds after take off, the unmanned spacecraft exploded into a ball of flames and came crashing down to the ground. Brian Garrett wasn’t far away, watching with others when the explosion occurred and caught the entire incident on camera. You can hear the sound of the rocket’s impact as it smashes to the ground.
