Cyclist Captures Red Hook Criterium Race Pile-Up

The Red Hook Criterium cycling race in Brooklyn had barely begun on Saturday, April 30, when it stalled after a motorcycle leading the race stopped in the middle of the track, causing a huge pile up that left at least seven cyclists injured. According to local reports, the crash at the men’s race necessitated a restart. On-bike footage by one of the cyclists captured the pile-up up-close.
