Dramatic video shows family being rescued from fire

As the death toll mounts from wildfires in the western U.S., this video emerged showing a dramatic rescue in Tacoma, Washington.

Biles ran out of his car and toward the house, where he found the residents still inside.

As flames closed in on the house, Biles urged the couple to escape and quickly ran next door, making sure everybody was out of that house also.

Biles said he believes God put him on that street that day to help those people and is grateful that everyone was able to evacuate before the house was engulfed in flames.

Firefighters arrived quickly but were unable to save the residence. According to local authorities, the hot, dry weather condition are causing the fires to spread quickly.

Biles said the family was unable to find a hotel room because so many other area families have been displaced by wildfires, but he believes they have been staying with a neighbor.

Thousands of people have been left homeless by the recent fires in California, Oregon and Washington state.
