Drone Timelapse Captures Snow Squalls Rolling Over Utah Mountains
A cold front brought snow showers to northern Utah on Friday, February 26, the National Weather Service (NWS) reported.
Justin McFarland captured storm clouds rolling over Ben Lomond Mountain near Pleasant View. He increased the speed of the video to include a full hour of footage in 45 seconds.
According to the NWS, snow squalls “are short in duration” but include “intense snowfall accompanied by strong wind gusts and poor visibility.” Drivers were advised to use caution when traveling. Credit: Justin McFarland via Storyful
