Elderly Woman and Toddler Among Injured in Memphis Drive-By Shooting

A Ring doorbell security camera captured the moment several suspects in a black Mercedes SUV and a silver Mercedes sedan opened fire at a home on East McLemore Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee, on June 8. At least four people were injured, reports said.

According to a Facebook post from the Memphis Police Department, both vehicles pulled in front of the home on the 1500 block of East McLemore Avenue and fired numerous rounds into the house. The suspects left the scene heading eastbound.

Hours after the first reports of shots fired, the group returned to the residence and fired additional rounds into the house. Four individuals were struck by the gunfire, including a 70 year old woman and an 18-month-old child.

The investigation is ongoing, police said, and those reporting information to Crime Stoppers may receive a $1,000 cash reward. Credit: Memphis Police Department via Storyful
