Firefighters Respond to Snow-Caused Collisions in Colorado

A band of heavy snow caused several traffic collisions in the south Denver metropolitan area on Tuesday, January 25, officials said.

Video shared by the South Metro Fire Rescue (SMFR) shows units responding to several traffic collisions on Tuesday morning in Lone Tree. In the first video, crews with Engine 44 respond to a three-car collision on Ridgegate Parkway east of Peoria Street. Units then responded to another collision nearby on northbound I-25 at Lincoln Ave, the rescue service said.

There were no injured parties in either accident, according to SMFR.

“Please take it slow and use caution during your commute,” the service urged on Twitter. Credit: South Metro Fire Rescue via Storyful
