Hermione the koala joey was admitted to Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital on Sunday, June 3, after her mother was killed by a pet dog.
In this video, posted to Facebook on June 12, Hermione enjoys munching on some eucalyptus leaves for her lunch.
Wildlife carers at the hospital referred to her as “one tough little cookie,” adding that she is the first patient of the 2018 “trauma season” where many orphaned joeys come through the facility.
