Heavy Snowfall Causes Power Outages in Maine

A winter storm that dumped almost two feet of snow in parts of Maine also left over 30 per cent of all power customers without service on April 10, the National Weather Service said.

Heavy, wet snow led to widespread power outages and caused damage to trees and power lines.

Power companies were working to restore power to customers on April 10.
