Heavy Snowfall Causes Significant Travel Issues in Baltimore

Heavy snow fell across Baltimore, Maryland, and surrounding areas on Wednesday, December 16, causing significant travel problems.

According to Maryland State Police, from 9 am to 3 pm on Wednesday, troopers responded to nearly 500 calls for service amid the snowy weather. The National Weather Service urged drivers to be “extra cautious” and said the storm system could bring flooding, snow, and ice.
