High Wind Warning Issued as Strong Gusts and Snow Hit Kansas

Strong winds mixed with rain and snow prompted the National Weather Service to issue a high wind warning for east-central Colorado and western Kansas on Wednesday morning, April 7.

Wind gusts as high as 60 mph were expected, and snow accumulations of up to two inches were possible in some areas, the NWS said.
