Hurricane Joaquin Closes in on Bermuda

Wind and rain picked up in Bermuda on Sunday, October 4, as Hurricane Joaquin tracked northeastward through the western Atlantic Ocean and was expected to come within 75 miles of the island. The storm, which has been downgraded to a Category 2 hurricane has contributed to severe flooding along the east coast in the US, that triggered a state of emergency in South Carolina.
