Ice-Cool Physiotherapist Makes a Splash in the Victoria Snow

The head physiotherapist at Mount Buller Physiotherapy in Victoria, Daniel Rogers, took an ice-cold dip in the snow on August 11.

In footage posted to Instagram, the physio can be seen jumping out of the door of the Mount Buller–based clinic into several inches of snow that had gathered there.

Rogers posted footage of his leap of faith to his Instagram account and told Storyful what he was trying to achieve by shooting the video. It was, he said, “to show that Mount Buller, Victoria, Australia, can get decent snowfall. And that we are able to have good snowfall in Australia.”

The Victoria State Emergency Service described the weather conditions at that time as the coldest front to hit the state this winter. Credit: Daniel Rogers via Storyful
